The “badia” was an Etruscan settlement 2000 years ago, became a rich abbey - badia - 1000 years ago and today it’s an idyllic farm of almost 1000 hectares, given over to vineyards and olive groves, all cultivated without the use of chemicals. The beautiful old badia offers tours of its estate and its wine cantina with sommelier-guided wine tastings. There’s also a charming garden to see and an elegant restaurant serving divine food. But we are concerned with their outstanding cookery classes!
