Farmhouse Fede, like all its village neighbours, was restored with “genuine” Tuscany in mind. Every original feature has been carefully re-created using local materials and artisan labour - hand made terra cotta brick floors and imposing oak beams are merely the more obvious examples of the passion for authentic Tuscany here at Finocchieto. The furnishings have also been carefully chosen to ensure you’re living in a truly Tuscan rustic setting, but with elegance and every comfort woven carefully into the mixture. The ground floor of the house is spacious and airy with its spectacular arches, sturdy columns and the original shallow brick arches held on metal beams that you see especially well in our picture of the sitting room. The ground floor bedroom opens directly onto a terrace and it’s a delight to wake up surrounded by the harmony that is Tuscany. Want breakfast in bed? No problem at all - we’ll have it sent round! Your kitchen is well equipped and you’ll find your fridge is stocked daily by the housekeeping service with snacks and beverages. Living the life here means we’ll be taking real care of your needs: you can cook and eat quietly at home, eat in any of the many marvelous local restaurants, have the village chef cook and deliver your meal or you can stroll across to the Manor House to eat a sumptuous meal in one of the dining rooms there.
